PRODUCTION
► To manufacture high-tech, top-quality products, NEPTUN has made major investments in recent years in state-of-the-art machinery and technologies across key production sectors: heat treatment, high-precision machining, gear tooth grinding, and quality control.
► The manufacturing process for gears produced at NEPTUN is completed with heat treatments including carburizing – hardening – tempering, ion nitriding, and induction hardening, executed in its own modern facilities, which are now operated and complemented by DUROTERM SRL.

QUALITY
THE QUALITY OF NEPTUN PRODUCTS AND SERVICES is based on a unified and comprehensive concept designed to meet customer needs and expectations. NEPTUN S.A. operates under an ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance system, having been certified since 1998.
To attest to product quality, the company operates modern laboratories for inspecting materials, gear tooth features, and gear cutting tools. Accordingly, Neptun products are delivered with:
- Material certificates in accordance with the SR EN 10204 3.1.B standard
- Heat treatment charts
- Gear geometry charts
- Measurement sheets
Final product verification is carried out on test stands capable of performing load tests up to 850 kW. Consequently, for all its products, Neptun can provide inspection and test certificates for:
- No-load run-in and, upon request, load run-in up to 850 kW
- Noise level testing
- Temperature level testing
- Other special tests upon client request
Furthermore, our specialists are always at your disposal to diagnose products and ensure compliance, both during and after the warranty period.
